Local law enforcement officials are leading the
effort to put together a collaborative and
comprehensive approach to preventing gang
activity in our area. Our efforts can
incorporate the work of other communities
facing similar issues, the experience of local
groups and experts, and involvement of
community efforts that support youth.
Safe Schools/Healthy Students is continuing to
provide information in the community that will
bring understanding of the student communities
who are at risk, what gang activity looks like in
this area and when and how we can
successfully engage young people to make
different choices.
